i’m south a freakin out man

the trip just ended, 3 weeks of south african exploration with a bunch of pals and a great deal of rad locals!!!  plus this country’s beauty is of unending pleasure and awe inspiration.  I was on a 3 week exploration of South Africa with Landy which began when the crew assembled in Cape Town.

the trip was epic and for all intensive purposes the best i’ve been on.  the beauty is phenomenal, the hills also, food etc, the people, the people again and the beach, also everything is extremely casj.  This place is so great that I decided to stay another week, a decision sparked by missing my flight by not booking a flight to Johannesburg in time because I lost my wallet, on the 2nd day.

I planned to unwind from the trip and slowly, with more depth, explore a single zone- different to the roadtrip vibe, very different.  roadtripping is a taxing game, very enjoyable but demands much exhaustion.  So I decided to chill in Hout Bay, just south from Cape Town for a few days and the migrate into the city for the last few days.  I’m fortunate in my timing as there is a race this weekend and the weather at this time of year is yeow byeowt and for the last 2 days i’ve basked in it whilst partaking in all things relaxing.

Coffee Bay, the darkplace of the trip.  i had to spend my night sleeping under a warm shower as it was inaccessible.   it wasn’t at all bad, kinda like being in the womb.

this was our trip song….  so deep were we that we managed to get a dj to play it which ended up in us shouting and dancing along with much vigour, so the dj played it again and we repeated but then he took his headphones off and told us to dj.  we only had one lucky dube song 🙁

the espresso paradox considers the point where the espresso’s speed benefits result in a longer completion time than if one had not spent time acquiring and consuming the espresso in the first place.  this point is mostly controlled by one’s desire to consume the espresso, not the resulting time gains.
