a lil while back I went out with some of the Maxtrax bigwigs with the goal of getting bogged, which is apparently not the rarest hobby, and really it’s right up my alley – getting bogged that is, more so proverbially, but mainly for the resolution.
I don’t shoot much commercial stuff these days and it’s a great position to be in (not relying on shoots to survive) because I can pick and choose the fun ones and thankfully the homies at Devote Digital send me on the fun ones. This time round we took some very capable 4wds into the Glass House Mtns and Bribie to get shots for a product launch, which basically entailed cruising around the spots with the goal of getting bogged or stuck. Doing things the hard way, especially for the sake of novelty, is one of my favourite past times, not for the sake of psychological masochism but that probably plays into a little bit.
